This external aerial which plugs into the back of PerformanceBox, Driftbox or VBOX Mini is a useful addition, and essential for cars which have an athermic or anti-UV coated windscreen. This is a must have for people with v-kool, 3M or similar protective films installed on their cars.
Using an external antenna on the vehicle's roof, the unit will have a less obstructed view of the sky. This will improve satellite reception if the area in which you are operating is heavily tree lined or built up, and can help to minimise drop-outs in logged data. |
